4th of July Weekend

We headed up to the trailer Saturday morning and spent the day.  We hoped to stay most of Sunday, but it rained so we left early (we're wimps, I know).  However, the time we spent there was a lot of fun.  We got both boys down for naps at the same time. I won't lie - it was hard, but we did it.  A few wagon rides, several trips to the park, 'smores, and lots of fun.  The boys really enjoyed themselves.  Here are a few pictures:

Someone decided to start walking!!!

Loving our time at LMCH

Bennett had so much fun on the slide.
This park is at the end of our block.

Nolan on a wagon ride.  He has found a new love
for my water bottle.  I guess it's time to buy him
one of his own.

Meanwhile, back home....

Mmmmm...potato salad

My little squidge

Nolan enjoying the giant sparkler.  Yes, he's trying to
wrestle it away from me.

Our little pyro

It was a wonderful long weekend.  Justin cooked up some very tasty ribs on the BBQ, we had potato salad and corn on the cob.  By the way, Nolan absolutely loves potato salad.

We tried to get Bennett to go to bed on time, but it was too dang loud in our neighborhood, so we (Justin, Bennett, and myself) went outside to see the neighborhood blow up.  Bennett was a little hesitant and skiddish at first, but he eventually got into it.  He didn't get to bed until 10:30pm!  It was worth it to see the excitement on his face.  Ahhh, to be a kid again!!
