On Sunday, we had Bennett's first friend party. We had it at East Portland Community Center, where the kids spent 1 hour in the gym and then we had time in a multi-purpose room. All of the kids enjoyed themselves, playing with a variety of toys and activities. There were quite a few kids from Bennett's class at the Y there as well as our friend's kids. We had cupcakes (blue and red icing was a bad idea - so messy), ice cream, and treat bags for the kids. Most of the kids got to take a balloon home with them.
It was a fun and busy weekend for us, but it was well worth it.
