Long Time No Blog

Life has been, well, CRAZY lately for all of us.  We ended the summer with a great trip to the trailer.  Thankfully, they lifted the ban on fires.  We did smores both nights!!  The boys had a blast and we didn't stress too much.  It was a lot of fun.

We ended the month of September with a fabulous surprise (somewhat) 40th birthday party for Justin.  It was an amazing party, to say the least.  Lots of family and friends helped us celebrate.  We even managed to get Chris Brown up from Cali, though it would've been even better if Kelly had made it, but she was there in spirit.  

October so far has been good.  Nolan started swim lessons this week and Bennett starts this weekend.  Nolan is such a natural in the water.  He jumped into the water all by himself and then said "I did it, Mommy!"  He can't get enough of the water.  Let's hope Bennett does well this weekend.  He's getting more comfortable in the water, so it should be a good experience.

Only 2 1/2 weeks until Bennett turns 5.  It's hard to believe that our first baby is turning 5 so soon.  Time has truly flown by.  He is turning into quite an intelligent, lively, loving, and opinionated young man.  He loves puzzles, coloring, practicing his letters and numbers, and of course anything to deal with superheroes.
