Sunday was my usual Sunday grocery shopping extravaganza. We got a lot of cleaning done, which was really nice. The boys even helped! Justin made sugar cookie dough and buttercream frosting. He and Bennett baked the cookies before bed so they would be ready for Christmas Eve.
Today, we celebrated Christmas with my dad and little sisters (and Julia's husband Chris). It was so much fun! The boys loved all of the wonderful gifts they received. Nolan was really tired, so he went down for his nap while Chris, Julia, Bennett, and Jillian decorated cookies.
As per our tradition, the boys got to open one gift, which (shocker!!!) were PJs. Bennett seemed a little bummed that he didn't get to pick the present, but he got over it pretty quick. We read Christmas books before bed and remembered to put cookies and milk out for Santa.
The stockings are hung and full of Christmas surprises. Who is more excited about tomorrow morning? The kids or us? It's a toss up.
Jingle, our Elf on the Shelf. He's kept a close eye on the
boys and reported all good and bad deeds to Santa.
Cookie decorating!
Our boys, Nolan, Bennett, and Blaze
