We went to a park in Tualatin and a friend of mine took Nolan's 2 year pictures. They turned out amazing. Corri is a great photographer (https://www.facebook.com/CorriAnnePhotography). Here's just a few (and there are a lot to choose from) of my favorites:
The new daycare is going really well. It's different, but both boys are adapting very well. We've had a few tearful drop-offs, but the staff has been very accommodating and it gets better every day. Bennett especially misses his friends (Lila) and teachers (especially Elva). Their new teachers tell us they are kind and behave well (why not at home????).
Bennett is the ring bearer for my younger sister's (Julia) wedding, so we decided to buy the tuxedo online so we didn't have to worry about a rental - stains, tears, fittings, etc. Just so Nolan wasn't left out, we bought him one as well. We finally got around to trying them on the boys last weekend. Bennett LOVED wearing his "taxi" and was rather upset when he had to take it off. Nolan wasn't as excited to try it on, though he did love the bow tie. They looked so handsome!!!
So handsome!!
Cheese!
Mom, I'm done!
Two handsome boys!
Yesterday, we added to our family. Some friends of ours are moving across country and they are downsizing everything, though not by choice. Since their new home will be significantly smaller and with no yard, Cindy made the tough decision to let us adopt Blaze. She knew we were looking for a dog and since we knew Blaze and he's used to kids, it was perfect timing. I know she will miss Blaze, but I hope she knows he's a great addition to our house already. We have promised to send lots of pictures and Skype so that their kids can see Blaze. We have all fallen in love with the little guy.
First night at our house and he's chilling on my lap.
