Justin and I decided to take the plunge and drive the boys up to Great Wolf Lodge in WA. It was only about a 1.5 hour drive, so not too long. We got to check in right away and it was a very quick process. Our room was perfect. We stayed in one of the Wolf Den Suites, where they have bunk beds in a "den" of sorts, along with their own small table and a TV. To say the boys were excited about that is an understatement.
The water - the best part. The water park is pretty darn amazing. Bennett even tried one of the slides!! Most of the time, the boys stayed in the smaller kid area where the water was no more than 18-24 inches deep, but there were cool slides and things to play on/around.
Activities - we purchased one of the passes for kids. You prepay (or even pay at the counter when you check-in) for a certain pass that gets you several things. It's less expensive and the kids love checking things off their list. It was well worth it.
The food was pretty good. We ate at a nearby burger joint for dinner and enjoyed the buffet for breakfast.
We enjoyed watching cable TV (we got rid of cable in July), relaxing a little bit, and having lots of fun. We plan to go again in March with Laura, Maggie, and Mollie. That will be even more fun!!!
