We had a wonderful Father's Day weekend. Yesterday, we had everyone over for a lunchtime BBQ. Yes, it was raining, but luckily we had just enough room inside for everyone. It was really nice to see our families and hang out, which does not happen enough.
Today, I let Justin sleep in (6:45!!!) and woke up with both kids. Bennett was nice enough to let me sleep in until 5:30 and then Nolan woke up at 6:00. Bennett and I made coffee and then muffins so that when Justin woke up, he didn't have to worry about breakfast. The boys got him a 1/2 inch corded drill and Bennett was so excited for Justin to open it. Bennett enjoyed playing with the bows and empty box all day. Why even bother with buying kids toys? Empty boxes seem to be more fun than his trains and they are cheaper!
In just a few days, our little baby will be 2 months old. Where has time gone?
